The boy was riding his bike in the driveway of their home when the neighbor's dog escaped their yard and attacked him, biting his leg. The attack was completely unprovoked. The boy's cat Tara reacted swiftly, slamming her body into the dog and literally chasing him away. The video was obtained from the family's home security cameras around the perimeter of their house.

I saw this earlier in the week on google plus and it is something to see! I had not idea cats could be so protective. She is quite the hero and I'm glad she was able to save her boy. Have a great weekend!

Oh we saw it on our news. Don't know who caught the video...doubt it was one of the child's parents. Me thinks that child will be a cat person forever more!

I just had to write about it. Reminded me of my Maggie who passed away last year.
I'm sure he will be! That cat probably saved his life. I heard the video was from the parent's security system.
