My little Phoebe's turned into a bathing beauty!
I think she's nuts but Icy loves to lie in the hot sun! Her Husky double undercoat insulates from heat as well as cold. We fill the water bowl to the max and don't let her stay out for very long.
Icy Finally comes to her senses and finds shade. Whew!

It is super hot here, too, and it's like a wet blanket hitting your face when you leave the comfort of the a/c. We were in the 90s today. The girls don't spend much time out in the dog yard before they are back at the door, wanting in.
We are enduring another stupid hot summer here too. I will never understand how Bentley can lay out in the blazing sun and love it! He comes back inside and you can feel the heat rising off him. He crashes belly up under the ceiling fan to cool off! Phoebe & Isis look like they enjoy it too!

Isis looks so regal when she's sun bathing. :) We've had the opposite problem here lately: rain, rain, and more rain! Make it impossible to walk Niles :(
