| YIKES! We passed a flyer tacked on to this sign post. It says "Bear Country" and lists what to do if you're attacked by a bear! Not very comforting! It says if you're attacked by a bear that you should NOT run, but instead make lots of noise to scare the bear off. Seriously?! That doesn't sound like much of a plan to me. |

WOW! What an amazing view!!! Yeah, I agree the whole "make noise at the bear" idea seems pretty iffy. You are fortunate to be able to enjoy such natural beauty. ☺

It really is an awesome view, pretty much every where you turn! Thankfully, we didn't happen upon any bears so we didn't have to decide whether to yell at a bear or turn tail & run! Thanks for visiting the blog M.K.!
It really is a spectacular place. It's on the way to the Grand Canyon and in my opinion it's almost as incredible. I feel lucky to live fairly close to it & be able to go often. Thanks for stopping by Jenna!
