Hiking on a cloudy day is the best. The desert sun can be SO strong, even in Winter!
As temperatures soar in a month or so we won't have many cool mornings and evenings like this!

We are not fans of the summer heat and humidity, so the desert would be really not fun. Early morning walks are our favorites. Glad you are out there enjoying the pre heat time.

I wonder what my hound dog would think of a hike like that. I imagine if he started after a scent he might send me tumbling down those hills!

It stinks in the Summer, its SO hot but one thing that works in our favor is that there's little to no humidity. I like early morning a after sundown walks best. Thanks for stopping by Emma!

It is a long hike, but so nice. Yes, it's a little exhausting, there are some steep inclines! I'm huffing & puffing but my Husky is just getting started - LOL! Thanks for stopping by!
