Our pets are family and we don't think our homes smell of pet odors, but over time we can become NOSEBLIND to the odors of our furry family members! We think our home smells fresh and clean, but because we smell our pets' odors all the time we become so accustomed to it we no longer notice the smell. But when guests come over, they do notice pet odors! Most of us pet owners would hate it if our guests thought our homes smelled of pet odors. How embarrassing!
I learned the hard way about being NOSEBLIND! I have to let Phoebe tell you about it because I can't, it's just too painful. All I'll say is, don't let this happen to you! OK Phoebe, go ahead....
PHOEBE: Well, Mommy had the Aunties over for coffee one night and everyone was having a perfectly lovely time! Until.....
Mom got NOSEBLINDED by the Aunties!! They told her that my Husky sister and I had been stinking up the place, and it was high time for Mom to Do Something about the smell! There was total silence, I mean you could have heard a pin drop. Mom's jaw certainly dropped, she was so mortified!

Talk about AWKWARD!!
The next morning, we were still reeling from the shock of it all. We told Mommy that we were not getting up until she did something to take away the odors that have offended our guests and humiliated us.

I love coming home from work, walking in the house and smelling a nice clean house (second to the waggy-bum greetings I get). I can't clean every day though! Febreze would be a great way to keep up the freshness between cleans. Thanks.

I'm glad that I'm not the only one with an embarrassing story about noseblindness! Those pet odors can really sneak up on you. I've been having to brush on my Petiquette too. I spend most of my Febreze time around the litter boxes.

I am so not a fan of Febreeze, sorry to say. I still don’t think it’s safe for me or TW. However, anything is better than the smell of cigarettes.
I have to tell you that after trying to find a product that would not bother my allergies nor bother Dexter's sensitivities, Febreze is a hit. It is light, airy, and safe around dogs and cats. Cute pics, too.

Great review! Wet dog smells as bad as an unattended cat box. Fall is prime time for Febreze around here. I never needed this until the foster arrived -- big dogs are different!

Well, I'm sure I am noseblind to some things, but for some reason, the cat box(es) NEVER allows me that pleasure. ;) I am a big Febreze user (oil, spray, my car). It helps a lot.
Not that I have cat box smell in my car! I just use it in my car because my car is OLD! :) (My corgis don't have a bad smell, btw. Not noseblind; their fur simply doesn't have the dander odor.
I've used Febreze Pet Odor Eliminator for a while but haven't tried the air effects.
Those facts are shocking! I love Febreze! We always try to improve the smell of our place :)

I have tried everything under the sun to get rid of the pet smell. I can't smell it (but assume others can) so I overcompensate.

I have A LOT of animals, and regularly use Febreze products to keep my home smelling great. What I love the most is how the Febreze products have such a light scent...enough to get rid of pet odors, but not enough to be overwhelming!

I know right!? I had not idea that so many people hated pet odors, I thought it was just my nutty sisters who have no pets. I have to be more diligent and use Febreze all the time. The care is one place I hadn't used it, but now that they sent me a vent clip I popped it right in and we love it!
