Yes, TW was there but I don't believe she had the opportunity to connect with you. It was three days of fun and learning. Hope you got to see the beach too.

I'm glad I had the opportunity to say "Hi" to you! You had dinner with two of my favorite dog bloggers. Your girls are just adorable and I loved meeting them, too.

I'm so glad we met! We're both NY-ers so we should try to get together here at home, that would be great.

Gosh, it was just so much, wasn't it? I'm having a hard time narrowing down what to write about! I'm so glad I got to meet and chat with you, Cathy, but it occurs to me that I didn't get to meet your girls! Next time! Oh, and I missed meeting Kristin too, darn it!

It was so great meeting you at BlogPaws. Once again, the conference didn't disappoint...except when it was over. I didn't want it to end! ~Island Cat Mom

I'm so glad we got a chance to meet! My dogs spent a lot of time in the room, it was a bit overwhelming for them. Maybe next time though.

It was great meeting you too! It always goes so darn fast, it is disappointing when it's over. At least next year it's in April, so we gain a month - only 11 more months 'til the next conference, LOL!

Every time I attend BlogPaws I have a bunch of people I want to meet. And every time I "just miss."

I'm thinking we need a score card that has a picture of the blogger, their pets, and their blog address. That would make it easier to meet more folks we "know" online.

Hi Cathy - Known as Mom Kim on my blog - Lady Shasta & Miss Maizie are my two "kids". I get to be one of the newbies at the KC conference next year - I live less than 75 miles west of there in Topeka, KS - I couldn't pass up such a wonderful opportunity, especially since I have been wanting to go for a few years. Also, since my sis decided a ticket to the conference would make an ideal early Christmas/birthday present for me - I said, HECK YEAH! I just can't believe the Blogpaws conference as well as pet blogging and the pet business has grown so much just since I began my pet blog in late 2009.

Is it true that having business cards is a helpful tool for non-professional pet bloggers? So far I don't make any money from my blog although that may soon change - I have accepted pet products in exchange for product reviews but even that is limited. Anyway, I will be reading more of what you have to say about the conference - it may be real early but I have a lot to learn to get ready.
I'm thinking that Pamela's idea about a score card might just be a good thing or is that what a business card is for?

Hi Kim, I'm so glad you'll be at the conference next year! You will love it and you'll get SO much out of it. I just posted my first blog post w/ a recap of two sessions I attended. I'll be posting a coupe of more so please do stick around and read them, it will help you for next year. Business cards at the conference are a MUST if you would like to connect with brands and other bloggers & especially if you want to one day earn money from your blog. Be cautious about doing too much work without pay, brands will peg you as a blogger who will always work only for product. Build your audience and content and start getting paid for your hard work! You can email me with any questions, I'm always here to help my fellow bloggers! Email me at: Dogsluvusandweluvthem@gmail.com

What a great idea to have a score card with all the attendees on it! I always miss a lot of people too, the conference gets so hectic it's hard to keep track. I love the conferences, I always learn so much and I love seeing everyone (or almost everyone!)
