FALL, WHERE ARE YOU??
It's been in the 80's in New York for the last two weeks, c'mon Mother Nature hit us with some FALL already!

If you love Fall as much as we do .....
Fall, or Autumn as some prefer, is a great time to take a special trip with your dog. The Summer crowds have thinned out and the weather is cool and crisp.
🐶 How about a Fall trip to dog friendly Montauk or The Hamptons in New York?
🐶 History buffs that love witches, ghosts, and goblins, can bring the dog along on a "Witch Hunt" in Salem, Massachusetts.
🐶 A weekend getaway to historical Colonial Williamsburg is a fun and educational vacation for the whole family.
🐶 If you're on the West coast, Fall is the perfect time to visit Sedona, Arizona. The scenic beauty will literally take your breath away! The miles and miles of dog friendly hiking will keep your dog's tail wagging with sheer joy.
We took Icy and Phoebe to all these places, each one warmly welcomed our dogs!

It's been crazy hot here in Toronto, Canada as well! We've actually broken heat records. Fall is our most favourite time ever and we love going for drives to see the colours and take hikes. I hope it cools down for you soon!
Aww I love the video of your dog coming to you in the Fall leaves. Yep.Fall is one of my favorite seasons. Good memories as a kid jumping in the leaves. My cats used to be in the window perches looking at the leaves fall and the squirrels scurry around.
A few leaves have fallen here despite the summer temps. Timber just loves to chase them, making a walk with Mom a bit of a challenge:) Fall temps arriving today - YAY - that means we are that much closer to snow!!!

I love fall more than any other season. Everything about it! My dogs don't seem to care much for leaves, but they love chasing the squirrels who are working diligently to secure their acorns.
I love the cooler weather and that is why I moved to San Francisco although lately the weather has been nuts and today we are having a heat wave - please please bring on the fall
Mr. N loves playing in the leaves. And leaving his mark! He also likes visiting the farm to pick pumpkins and visit corn mazes.

I imagine Sedona will be cooler than it was for BlogPaws conference? I loved it where and oh boy the natural wonders would make anyone's heart sing. What a place and I was SO lucky to be able to visit.

We love to do the local hikes here in the fall. It can be too hot in the winter. (Although we have to wait until around Nov for the REAL fall weather! It's hot and dry here right now!)
Would love to go to any of those places. We took Rita to Sedona a year or so ago and it was wonderful. So many great hikes!
California has lovely destinations for fall travel, although the leaves don't change color that much so we never get to see real fall. We love hiking in our city San Francisco and in the Bay area, specially across the Golden gate bridge in Marin
We love Fall weather and I am hoping it gets here soon! Although, the weather we've been having lately has been great.
It's back in the 90s here in SC. Supposed to have a cold front come through this weekend. I love fall weather.
It's been crazy hot in Chicago, in the 90s and humid - worse than in the summer. I pay attention to the weather and it has not been this hot this late in September in over twenty years. Buffy likes to play ball once it cools off.
Hiking and running definitely top my list of favorite fall activities. I love being able to walk my dogs outside everyday as well. The summers here can be brutal especially the longer the heat stays. We are just finally cooling off and it's almost October!
Our pack loves to frolic in the leaves. We look for trails to walk at this time of year (good excuse to bring the camera). We will definitely consider your recommendation to visit Montauk and The Hamptons!
I would love to go back to Sedona now that it is not so hot! Phoebe looks adorable in your video.
So glad that Fall is here! It's still be in the 90s here in Georgia, but I'm hopeful it will cool down soon. The KCC Adventure Team and I are ready to hit the outdoors for some fun adventures! We have a trip planned to a town about 45 minutes from us that has a park, lake, and hiking trails. We will do some hiking and canoeing!
We enjoy long walks in our own woods during the cooler weather! I love to hear the crunch of the leaves under the dogs' paws, and enjoy the smell of the drying leaves.
